What Are Iframes?
An iframe is an external webpage embedded inside another, used to insert a piece of content from different sources into your Clinked portal. For example, YouTube videos, news articles, Google maps etc.
How Can I Embed An Iframe Within A Note In Clinked?
Before you can embed an Iframe in your notes, first you will need to add the domain of the web page you would like to embed to the Allowed domains for iframe links. This can be found in your account settings under Security & Authentication.
Step 1
Go to Account Settings > Security & Authentication then under the Allowed domains for iframe links section, add the domain of the web page you are inserting. Ensuring not to include ‘https://’ and ‘www.’ in this part. You also don’t need to include the ending, for example if the url is ‘https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/entertainment-arts-47352654/highlights-from-the-oscars-2019’ you only need to include ‘bbc.co.uk’ at this stage.
Step 2
Select Update.

Step 3
Next, go to the note that you are inserting the iframe in, and select insert > embed iframe.

Step 4
Then you need to insert the whole URL in the box provided, as shown in the screenshot below. You can also choose how you would like the iframe to be formatted by choosing the width and height of it.
Step 5
Click Insert.

Step 6
Scroll down to the bottom of the note and select Save, it should then appear in the note and look something like this:
