What Is Single Sign On (SSO)?
Using SSO means that you can use credentials from another application that you have previously signed up for, saving you time and the hassle of remembering multiple different sets of login details. We currently offer three different methods of single sign on:
You can sign in to your portal using the sign in with LinkedIn option. This will then redirect you to the LinkedIn login page where you will have to sign in using your LinkedIn account details. It will then sync the details from LinkedIn, and they will become your Clinked details as well. Once you log in once, you won’t have to again as Clinked will remember your details for you.
You can also do the same with Google, just select sign in with Google, then you will be redirected and asked to sign in to your Gmail account. Once signed in, clinked will use these details to create your Clinked account and remember them so that you don’t have to sign in again.
SAML Active Directory
Active directory single sign on is a feature available only to premium package members. This method is well suited to larger company’s who use lots of different applications within their organization. It will use your company’s active directory by sending an SAML request to your IdP, the request is then authorised by the IdP, and an SAML response is sent back to Clinked so that you can log in.
This method of login is designed to save all users having to remember multiple passwords for different applications, resulting in a lot of time being saved on logging in and reseting forgotten passwords.
Clinked supports SSO via SAML 2.0 and acts as a service provider. Customers must have a federation service to act as an identity provider (IdP). This can be accomplished through an in-house or third party provider such as ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services), Okta, OneLogin, Azure and others.

How Do I Turn Off The Google And Linkedin Single Sign On Feature?
If you would like to remove the options of signing in with Google and LinkedIn from your portal’s login page, the account administrator can do this easily by going to Account Settings > Branding, then check the box Don’t show Google and LinkedIn buttons on the sign in page. This will then remove any option of signing in via Google or LinkedIn for all members of your Clinked portal.
